“Whoosh goes that small batch size through your big system.”

Hi folks,

As you may have heard, we had an amazing Summit this year, with over a thousand participants gathering in San Antonio to talk ‘all things SAFe’ for five days. Here’s some quantitative highlights:

Agenda highlights included truly inspirational keynotes from Mel Robbins, Gene Kim, and Don Reinertsen.

Preparing for my keynote was a bit challenging. I had a 50-minute time box. If you know me, you know I can talk about any one icon on the big picture for more than 50 minutes!  Given the timebox, I decided to try to synthesize and illustrate how so much of the new 4.5 content—Lean Startup, Lean UX, DevOps, and the Continuous Delivery Pipeline—was not four things, but really only one: a continuum of practices that helps enterprises delivery more innovative solutions at a velocity they could only imagine before. My talk was entitled: Driving Innovation in the Large Enterprise with SAFe 4.5Whoosh goes that small batch size through your big system.

You can download the PDF of the presentation below. It links to a few short videos so be sure and watch those as well.

We also gave everyone who attended a shiny new penny. After you watch the videos, you’ll know why.

And here’s another little test: What’s the magic word?

Will we see you in Washington DC next year? I sure hope so.

Stay SAFe,
